Erik has faced homelessness, food insecurity, and depended on public transit through his life. He has worked in adoption, economic development, process improvement and project management, and healthcare, where he currently works full-time at Children’s Hospital.
Each opportunity distinctively providing him with the knowledge and skills to tackle Denver's growing problems: gentrification, housing affordability, healthy food access, transportation, green space and community site loss. A well rounded city needs well rounded leadership. Having worked for over 13 years in the community, advocating for change and developing services, Erik is a tried and true voice.
